Meeru Island Resort Maldives

North Male' Atoll Speedboat: 60 min
Hotel Rating: Island Resort

Meeru Island Resort, fondly known as Meeru by friends, offers a relaxing casual atmosphere. The 70 acres of land creates an impression of space and tranquility; which is further enhanced by the leafy interior of the island.

A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. Every effort has been placed to preserve the natural beauty of the island. As you approach the island you will be surprised at the lack of any man-made structures visible through the thick vegetation of the shoreline, fringed with tall coconut palms.

The island is covered in soft white sand. Its soft white sandy beaches and shady walks are immensely popular among visitors. Winding walkways lined with palm trees lead you to the reception with its thatched roofing that blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The floors of the reception and other public areas too are layered with soft sand.

If you are one who prefers to kick off your shoes and enjoy a casual atmosphere in which to relax, Meeru Island Resort is certainly the resort for you.

Location: Meeru Island Resort is in Meeru Island, one of the biggest islands in the atoll situated in the eastern reef of North Mal. Meeru is 27 kilometres away from the Mal International Airport.
