Taj Exotica Maldives

South Malé Atoll, Republic of Maldives
Hotel Rating: CategoryCategoryCategoryCategoryCategory
Location: Situated on the island of Emboodhu Finolhu, in the middle of one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives, the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa offers you the ultimate luxury: being one with nature.

The comforts of fine living seamlessly blend in with the natural foliage. The island slowly reveals itself from amidst the lush tropical surroundings. While a clear sand lagoon – one of the largest in the Maldives – beckons you in.

Accommodation: Our villas are specifically designed to leave the natural surroundings undisturbed. As a result, the 64 palm-thatched villas – most of them over water - seamlessly blend into the picturesque surroundings. Each striking an even balance between natural beauty and fine living. The interiors are minimal with a touch of understated luxury: Nature makes its presence felt through palm-thatched roofs and natural wood finishes on the exteriors and the floors.

You can choose from beach villas, deluxe beach villas, lagoon villas, deluxe lagoon villas and the specially appointed 2- room Rehendhi suite. Each comes with an ocean view right from the bed.

We have however made a few concessions for the necessities of modern living. These come in the shape of a personal in-villa bar, an in villa entertainment system (satellite television and DVD player), internet connectivity, international direct dialling and tea/coffee making facilities.

Restaurant: No matter where you choose to dine on the island – you are free to pick any spot you like – you’ll find the experience as unique as the island itself.

Our two restaurants and the bar are set amidst surroundings that create an ambience all their own. Each offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the lagoon. With the option of either dining indoors, or on the open deck to take full advantage of the time of day and the weather. Warm, attentive yet unobtrusive service complements the surroundings.

Recreational Facilities: Recreation takes on a whole new definition in the Maldives. Breathtaking coral reefs abound with marine flora and fauna, making for some of the world’s best diving spots. And drawing enthusiasts from far and wide.

Water Sports: There is more to water sports than diving. Take your pick from Parasailing, Banana Boat rides, Fun Tubing, Knee Boarding, Wind Surfing, Catamaran Sailing and Canoeing.

At the Taj Exotica, you can get your fill of it all. Courtesy the Delphis Dive and Water Sports Centre.

Spa: You’ll find the spa located at the far end of the island. A spot chosen specifically to ensure that the surroundings outside, are as relaxing and refreshing as the treatments within.

The view itself is scenic, tranquil and rejuvenating. And the treatment rooms have been designed to overlook the Indian Ocean.
